Hyperion Selects Trajecta as an Application Partner

Trajecta Inc, a leading provider of Customer Profitability Management (CPM) solutions for strategic profit-based decision making, and Hyperion, a leader in business analysis software, announced a strategic agreement to cooperatively market and distribute Hyperion Essbase with Trajecta's new flagship product, Virdix.

As the market-leading technology platform for business analysis, Hyperion Essbase will be used with Virdix to enable companies to incorporate profit and risk analysis into decision making to optimize customer acquisition and retention programs, cross-selling, one-to-one marketing, and resource allocations.

"Hyperion Essbase provides the enabling technology platform to conduct powerful "what-if" analysis to develop sound business strategies," said Tom Traughber, chief architect for Trajecta. "As a leader in this field, Hyperion provides the scalability necessary for quick and comprehensive reporting of data. Using Hyperion Essbase as a complement to Virdix will provide our clients with a leading edge solution for viewing and analyzing the outcomes of various business strategies."

Hyperion Essbase technology delivers a strategic platform for enterprise management reporting, analysis and planning applications. The Essbase OLAP (online analytical processing) Server supports multi-user read/write access, large-scale data capacity, robust analytical calculations and sophisticated OLAP queries. The technology provides intuitive multidimensional data navigation, which reduces the time and effort involved in training new users, as well as consistent, rapid response times in network-centric computing environments.

"We are pleased to welcome Trajecta as an application partner, and look forward to collaborating with them," said Jeff Flores, director of Alliance Marketing at Hyperion. "Trajecta is widely known as a leader in their space, and we look forward to expanding opportunities for both companies."
