MicroStrategy Unveils Software Development Kit 7.1

MicroStrategy Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, announced the general availability of MicroStrategy SDK (Software Development Kit) 7.1, MicroStrategy's comprehensive development environment for the MicroStrategy 7 Web reporting and business intelligence platform. MicroStrategy SDK exposes a completely open, XML-based architecture that makes it simple for developers and systems integrators to customize or seamlessly integrate and extend MicroStrategy's technical capabilities into existing Web, Windows or wireless solutions, enabling rapid deployment of custom applications.

MicroStrategy SDK features a Java-based Web API that developers can use to build custom applications on multiple platforms, including IBM AIX, Sun Solaris and Microsoft Windows NT, and Web application servers such as IBM WebSphere, iPlanet, and Apache Tomcat. MicroStrategy added Java and Unix capabilities to support a wider variety of applications and make it easier for systems integrators and value added resellers to quickly develop and integrate MicroStrategy's business intelligence platform into their offerings.
