Be Free Inc Signs Agreement with Teradata

Be Free Inc, a leading provider of a marketing platform that allows online businesses to acquire, convert and retain customers easily and cost-effectively, announced a partnership with Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation. This partnership will allow Be Free's BSELECT recommendation technology to work with Teradata data warehouses. The companies plan to co-market the two products to potential customers.

By using BSELECT in combination with the Teradata database, a business can collect real-time clickstream data from its Web store and combine this rich and predictive data set with data collected from its other sales channels. With the capability for deeper analysis and mining of its data, a company can uncover consumer trends and understand consumer preferences. With the privacy capabilities built in to the Teradata database and the BSELECT service, businesses have the ability to ensure that this analysis does not violate consumers' trust by honoring their preferences for privacy and data security.

The BSELECT service is built on Be Free's patented Adaptive Relationship Modeling technology, which enables a company to learn, automatically and in real-time, which products or content are most appropriate for each individual site visitor and serve the most appropriate recommendations during the interaction.
