InteQ InfraStream Offers Flexible IT Infrastructure DS

InteQ Corporation announced that Hewlett-Packard Company's Operations Services Division is using InteQ's InfraStream subscription-based information delivery service. With InteQ, previously incompatible information from a client's many different systems can now be correlated to build diverse, graphical reports that IT and business managers depend on to make strategic decisions about their IT infrastructure.

InfraStream consolidates information from many disparate sources into a single data warehouse. From this single repository, clients such as HP are able to compare data that has been traditionally difficult to correlate, and generate both standard and customized reports. InteQ is the first Management Service Provider (MSP) to offer an information delivery service that correlates performance, availability and inventory information to support enterprise customers. Using InfraStream, IT managers know at a glance how each server, database, application and network device is performing, where they're located on the network, and what specific information they're providing.

Written in language a business manager can easily understand, these reports help both business managers and IT professionals at every level of the manufacturing client's organization set and track service levels, plan for capacity, analyze trends and ensure their infrastructure continues to perform optimally. For example, a client can use InfraStream to report on service levels in order to dramatically reduce downtime and improve customer satisfaction. InfraStream's flexibility enables clients to generate periodic and ad hoc reports that put the analysis to support decisions right at the manufacturer's fingertips.

"Naturally, clients demand the IT infrastructure performance information they need to ensure continued maximum uptime for their complex IT environments and to plan capacity for future growth," said Yash Shah, InteQ's president and chief technology officer. "InfraStream correlates that information into flexible reports they can easily interpret and use for making sound decisions about their business."
