Oracle Conducts Free E-Business Portal Seminars with Compaq

Oracle, a leading provider of software for e-businesses, announced that it has embarked on a global seminar series with hardware platform partner Compaq Computer Corporation to introduce IT and LOB managers to a complete portal solution that makes it simpler to conduct e-business at Web speed. Portals are the essential infrastructure for e-business, delivering personalized information and applications to users through any Web browser or wireless device. This global series, taking place worldwide and offered at no charge to participants, focuses on Oracle9i Application Server's portal software, Oracle9i AS Portal, a browser-based environment for building and deploying enterprise portals, and the scalable, reliable ProLiant/NT and AlphaServer/Tru64 platforms.
