New Brokat Technologies and Cognos Partnership

Brokat Technologies, a global leader in software that enables user-centric business, announced a new partnership with Cognos Inc, a global supplier of business intelligence systems. As a result of the partnership, Brokat Technologies acquires global distribution rights for the Web-releases of Cognos' analysis tools-Impromptu and PowerPlay. Integrating Cognos' solutions in Brokat's Customer Tracking & Reporting Service, e-businesses built on Brokat Server Technology platforms now can have a tracking service for cross-channel recording of customer interactions and a powerful tool to analyze the captured data.

Cognos PowerPlay is a powerful solution for the interactive analysis of sophisticated, multi-dimensional corporate data (OLAP - Online Analytical Processing). PowerPlay Web can be applied by decision-makers for the rapid and easy evaluation of records. If any questions or striking results are revealed from the corporate data, more detailed records can be accessed to perform an in-depth analysis of selected items. The Web component Impromptu also allows pre-defined reports to be generated and published on an Intranet or over the Internet.

The Brokat Customer Tracking & Reporting Service includes several ready-to-use reports with which organizations can immediately perform their own evaluations, as well as define further analyses and reporting modes.
