MindfulEye Launches InvestorLite

MindfulEye, developer of Lexant, a Natural Language Processing software that can instantly read and understand online material in context, is pleased to announce the launch of InvestorLite, an Internet monitoring tool for retail investors.

InvestorLite uses a sub-set of the technology that powers MindfulEye's innovative investor relations service, MindfulEye Surveillance. InvestorLite provides investors a real-time ranking of the top five most actively discussed companies, the top three most positively discussed companies, and the top three most negatively discussed companies.

In addition, the tools allow investors to follow detailed discussion and published comments on any publicly traded security in North America.

MindfulEye's technology aggregates content from hundreds of thousands of company mentions in near real-time from financial editorial sites, news wire services, real-time chat channels, and discussion forums.

MindfulEye's Lexant artificial intelligence technology adds value to this content by reading and rating each company mention for its subjective expression. The resulting MoodScore shows investors changes in public perception about companies and provides early warning of mood swings that can affect the value of their portfolio.

While research has shown that changes in the volume of discussion affects trading volume, independent research conducted by Wired Magazine (April, 2001) found "a statistically significant correlation between changes in MindfulEye's mood scores from one day to the next and in stock prices the following day."
