• XML is a language that allows sharing of content between systems in a seamless fashion. This XML interface provides content in a readable form by tagging items that are then defined in a DTD (document type definition). These tags are then used to integrate seamlessly with other systems.
• Java Interoperability -- allows ARTEnterprise to reason over native java objects.
• XML Rule Representation -- ARTEnterprise uses the XML interface to read ARTEnterprise rules into ARTEnterprise's customer system and allows customers to enter rules in XML syntax. This feature also allows seamless integration with third party rule editors.
• SOAP Integration capabilities (SOAP) -- SOAP is a standard that provides a way of defining an XML representation of objects. With ARTEnterprise SOAP integration, objects can be shared across systems in a simple, consistent, and easy-to-implement way.
• ARTExplain -- this functionality provides the ability to explain the reasoning behind a given credit or other loan decision, such as stipulations required or product exclusion decisions invoked.
• ARTAnimate -- this functionality assists in the maintenance of a process flow within a rule-based system. It provides a developer with the ability to manage and track process flows within the system.
