Relizon Promotes Thomas, Hires Frey

The eCRM Group of Relizon has promoted Greg Thomas to director of strategic business development and named Terri Frey as director of marketing.

Relizon's eCRM Group provides customer relationship management strategies to financial services, high tech firms, and retail and communications companies to ensure that technology- and Internet-enabled solutions are integrated with traditional marketing programs to support the acquisition, retention and care of profitable customers.

As director of strategic business development, Thomas will be developing and managing strategic win-win partnerships with leading technology companies in order to enable Relizon to serve as a true one-stop provider of customer relationship management solutions. He also will help develop Relizon's merger and acquisition strategy.

"I am very pleased to have Greg drive this very crucial role for the eCRM Group," said Deepak Sircar, senior vice president and general manager of Relizon's eCRM Group. "Throughout his career, Greg has proven himself an excellent strategic planner with extensive experience in growth strategies, consulting, technology, and sales and marketing."

Sircar added, "As director of strategic business development, Greg will establish mutually beneficial partnerships in the marketplace, as well as drive revenue growth."

Thomas' career with Relizon includes four years serving in several senior management positions with The Reynolds and Reynolds Company. The Information Solutions Group (ISG) of Reynolds was sold to The Carlyle Group and re-launched as Relizon's eCRM Group in August 2000.

Prior to Reynolds, Thomas held various marketing, sales and technical positions with Lason, Diversitec and Bancorp. He holds a bachelor's degree of business administration in finance from Michigan State University.

Frey succeeds Thomas as director of marketing for Relizon's eCRM Group. She will lead the division's efforts in helping clients create strategies for cultivating closer and more profitable relationships with their customers. She will also manage the development of new products from the drafting board to the marketplace.

With 12 years experience in marketing and business communication for technology companies, Frey has an extensive and impressive background in marketing and project management.

Before joining Relizon, Frey was president of FlashNet, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prodigy Communications, one of the nation's largest retail Internet service providers serving both dial and DSL subscribers. Frey also served as vice president of Prodigy's FlashNet Division.

"We are fortunate to have someone of Terri's caliber join our team," Sircar said. "Her leadership skills and experience with creating meaningful marketing strategies will be instrumental as we carry out Relizon's mission to continuously build upon our knowledge and processes to add tangible value to our services."

Frey, a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in English education, also has held marketing positions with Whole Village Technology and Jostens Learning Corporation.
