INSIGHTFUL LAUNCHES STRATEGIC ALLIANCES INITIATIVE

Insightful Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for data analysis, announced it has named Gregg Paisley to the newly-created position of vice president of partnerships and alliances.

This executive appointment is the first step in expanding Insightful's partner network to supply advanced analytics to a broader spectrum of decision-makers.

In this role, Paisley will focus on cultivating new partnerships for Insightful. He will be responsible for developing and maximizing Insightful's opportunities with systems integrators and other professional services companies, enterprise application software companies, independent software vendors, platform vendors and value-added resellers. By creating these alliances, Paisley will help Insightful further expand the market for its analytical software and services.

Paisley has more than 20 years of business development, marketing and general management experience in high technology. He was previously a vice president at Onyx Software, where he played a key role in positioning the company as a leader in the CRM market. Prior to that, he was an executive at Compaq Computer Corporation, where his responsibilities included the company's largest strategic partnerships in software and services for CRM, ERP, supply chain, business intelligence and eCommerce.
