Study Results Show Oracle is Preferred CRM Vendor

Oracle Corporation is the preferred customer intelligence vendor among data warehouse and business intelligence professions, according to a new survey. Oracle received top ranking in three categories: applications (i.e. sales, service, and marketing), databases, and data warehousing tools (i.e., extraction, transformation, and loading, and data marts), according to a study that was conducted by the Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) to 1,670 data warehousing and business intelligence professionals. "Integration is the reason for Oracle's outstanding rankings," said Jeremy Burton, senior vice president, Oracle Corp. "Oracle approaches all of its product development, be it applications or data warehousing, with the goal of delivering a complete and simple solution. This allows companies access to better information thus allowing them to make better business decisions."
