AgentLand.com to Distribute NQL Technology

NQL Inc announced that AgentLand.com, a one-stop online destination for intelligent software agents and the tools used to build them, will distribute NQL's Network Query Language core technology. Under the terms of the agreement, NQL will share revenue generated from sales of NQL products on the site with AgentLand. NQL plans to offer additional products, including its recently announced NQL Components, from the AgentLand site in the near future.

Online since February 2001, AgentLand was created by France-based Cybion SA to supply developers with multiple resources related to intelligent agents. AgentLand's goal is to become the preeminent resource for agents and agent-related software.

Intelligent agents are software tools that automate tasks, minimizing attention required from a human by using intelligent behavior. Intelligent agents are aware of the specific needs and wishes of their users and are skilled in specialized areas. Agents are created for many tasks such as performing powerful searches of the Web, filtering or monitoring content, or shopping for the best deal on a particular item.
