High Tower Announces TowerView's Browser Interface, WebView

High Tower Software, a leading provider of operational business intelligence, announces the immediate availability of WebView, a Web-enhanced version of the company's flagship TowerView product. Any user with a PC running Netscape or Microsoft's Internet Explorer can now access most of TowerView's functionality via a browser window, thus reducing the cost of accessing business critical information for ad-hoc users and mobile users.

WebView is a very thin version of the standalone client that displays the CyberGrid in a Web browser. With WebView, users can access a TowerView display configuration residing on a web server. Once they have selected the configuration, the browser will download it and the plug-in will begin to receive and display the results of TowerView's analytics from the Processing Engine. WebView can show the full CyberGrid or any subset of information available from the Processing Engine. Using TowerView 4.7 to access their data via WebView, users will benefit from considerable time savings, ready access to up-to-date information, and more consistent reports and analysis. In addition, IT organizations benefit from transparent and efficient installation and software upgrades via the Web.
