Quad/Graphics Inc Chooses Trinagy's Insight Plus Solution

Quad/Graphics Inc chose Trinagy Inc's Insight Plus solution to manage the performance of its network and services. Quad/Graphics selected Trinagy for its ability to customize TREND, the Insight Plus open database; script the thresholds and subsequent event triggers; and set up the data export to a Microsoft SQL database. As a key element in Quad/Graphics' overall enterprise management system, the network performance solution needed to be very flexible and open. The company required seamless integration with current systems. Not only does TREND allow Quad/Graphics to monitor every aspect of its local and wide area networks, it also integrates well with Quad/Graphics' in-house Enterprise Management System. TREND has helped Quad/Graphics go from reactive monitoring to proactive monitoring. In the past Quad/Graphics used a number of point products, which was extremely difficult to manage.

Quad/Graphics Inc also chose TREND for its scalability. As printing increasingly becomes a digital process, Quad/Graphics' reliance on the network infrastructure increases daily. A port density increase of 50% in a year is not uncommon, and Quad/Graphics needed a solution that could keep pace with this growth.
