Carrier Corporation's Online Sales Soar w/WebMiner

Carrier Corporation has substantially increased sales of air conditioning units at its online store -- www.roomair.com -- by implementing WebMiner's data mining and personalization service offering, including delivery of offers in real-time via the WebMiner ASP. Just one month after implementing the solution, Carrier has improved its visitor-to-sale conversion rate by almost nine times and increased its revenue per visitor from $1.94 to $37.98. Carrier, one of the world's largest manufacturers of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment for commercial, residential and transportation applications, turned to WebMiner when seeking a quick, affordable way to increase online sales. The WebMiner-Carrier partnership began with a comprehensive data mining consulting project, led by WebMiner CEO and founder Jesus Mena. WebMiner conducted a comprehensive analysis of Carrier's data situation, recommended a database strategy and cleansed and mined the data, ultimately generating insights and predictive models which were used to guide both Carrier's offline and online marketing programs.
