Breadth of Comprehensive Solutions through Partnerships

Signed a global strategic alliance with Fujitsu where Fujitsu will sell DataCore's SANsymphony product on an OEM basis as part of the Fujitsu SystemWalker integrated systems management solution beginning at the end of 2001.

DataCore also entered a strategic alliance with Fujitsu Softek to help global businesses meet their exploding software storage requirements through the introduction of Fujitsu Softek's new storage networking and virtualization product based upon DataCore's leading storage networking and virtualization technology.

Established technical "Powered by DataCore" partnerships with some of the most innovative developers of storage equipment, including Adaptec, ATTO Technology, BakBone, Emulex Corporation, Eurologic Systems, ExaDrive Networks, Fujitsu Softek, INRANGE Technologies, Interphase Corporation, JNI Corporation, LSI Logic Storage Systems, McDATA, MTI Technology Corporation, Nishan Systems, Quadratec, QLogic Corporation, SAN Valley Systems, Troika Networks and Vixel Corporation- dedicated to delivering interoperable solutions to joint customers through the SANvantage Technical Partner Program.

Launched its SANvantage Authorized Partner Program and refined its channel partnerships to include over 60 SAN-focused integrator partners worldwide.

Enhanced partner support with the launch of a dedicated Authorized Partner Intranet site, interactive training materials, and ROI tools focused on SAN education and SANsymphony features and benefits.

Worldwide Presence and Support

Significantly expanded its global presence opening offices, training centers and employing more than 185 people at offices in the Silicon Valley, Canada, France, Germany, the U.K., Australia and Japan.

Expanded its Professional Services group and introduced free interactive tools to help end-users and resellers assess their SAN needs and calculate the ROI costs of various SAN configurations and to provide educational resources for the growing number of companies seeking to invest in SAN technology. Introduced a global integrated 24-hour multilingual customer support function.

Management and Industry Expertise

Expanded the Board of Directors to include Bruce Bergman, former CEO of Brocade and Xylogics, and Jim Felcyn, former Citrix CFO.

Broadened the depth and experience of its management team with the appointment of Ken Horner as vice president of marketing, William Beck as vice president of North American sales, Francis Glorie as Managing Director of European Operations, and the additions of Peter Thompson and Hiromi Kanasaki to its Asia/Pacific and Japan Operations.
