Bowker to Lead Informatica Worldwide Field Operations

Informatica Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise analytic software, announced that former SAP executive Kyle Bowker has joined Informatica as executive vice president, worldwide field operations. Mr. Bowker reports to Diaz Nesamoney, Informatica president and COO, and is a member of the company's executive management team.

Mr. Bowker, 41, previously served as senior vice president and general manager for SAP America's Manufacturing Sector, the largest of SAP's four industry sectors. The Manufacturing Sector provides solutions for both discrete and process manufacturing industries, including aerospace and defense, automotive, engineering and construction, high technology, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and mill products in the U.S. Previously, he served as senior vice president and general manager of SAP America's Process Sector.

In his new role at Informatica, Mr. Bowker is responsible for worldwide field operations, including all distribution channels as well as strategic business planning, alliances and channels, sales, professional services, training and customer development. Mr. Bowker oversees a global team of nearly 500 field salespeople, alliance professionals and consultants. He is also responsible for driving the continued development of Informatica's ecosystem of more than 300 strategic, technology and OEM partners.

Mr. Bowker succeeds Clive Harrison, an Informatica executive since 1995. Mr. Harrison established and grew Informatica's sales, professional services and training presence worldwide. Mr. Harrison will transition to an advisory role to Informatica's management team, remaining as a consultant through the end of the year.

Mr. Bowker served SAP America for eight years in several general management, partner support and solution engineering positions. Previously, he served as a technology and management consultant with a number of organizations, including Oracle Corp, Dun & Bradstreet Software and Management Science, America.

He graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Mr. Bowker was also awarded a master of business administration from the University of Texas.

Nussbaum Elected to Northrop Grumman Board of Directors

Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that Jay H. Nussbaum, executive vice president of Oracle Service Industries, a subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, has joined Northrop Grumman's board of directors.

The company also announced that Robert A. Lutz, a Northrop Grumman director since 1997, resigned to serve as vice chairman and head of product development for General Motors Corporation. Northrop Grumman's board membership remains at 10.

Mr. Nussbaum manages all sales, marketing, consulting, support, business operations and strategic planning for Oracle Service and is a member of Oracle Corporation's executive committee. Oracle Service Industries, based in Reston, Va., serves U.S. government, education, health care, communications, utilities and financial services industries with a variety of software, Internet and technology solutions.

"We are fortunate to be adding to our board of directors an executive with Jay's extensive background in serving government and commercial customers with the technologies driving the information-age economy," said Kent Kresa, Northrop Grumman chairman, president and chief executive officer. Since Mr. Nussbaum joined Oracle in 1992 as senior vice president and general manager of what was then Oracle Federal, Oracle Service Industries' business has grown from slightly less than $60 million to more than $1.5 billion in annual revenues. During this period, he extended the successful Oracle U.S. public-sector model into global vertical markets.

Mr. Nussbaum came to Oracle after a 24-year career with Xerox Corporation, where he served most recently as president of integrated systems operations. While at Xerox, he was responsible for integration and consulting services in commercial and federal government markets.

He received his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Maryland, where he is a member of the chancellor's advisory board. Mr. Nussbaum also serves on the advisory board of James Madison University. In addition to Northrop Grumman, he is a member of the boards of KPMG Consulting and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
