Tallan/Stage Stores to Collaborate on Enterprise DW System

Tallan, one of the longest-established e-business solutions providers in the world, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Specialty Retailers Inc (dba Stage Stores Inc) to develop an enterprise data warehouse architecture initially focusing on sales and inventory data marts.

The system, to be developed by Tallan in concert with SRI managers and staff, will be based on Oracle 8i and will integrate into existing line-of-business systems. The ultimate goal for the new system is to become the centralized enterprise data repository to allow Stage Stores to capitalize on missed sales opportunities, maximize inventory turns, and continue their retail success.
