Visual Analytics Expands International Base into Asia

Visual Analytics Inc (VAI) flagship visual data mining system, VisuaLinks continues to expand its international customer base with the award of several contracts in Asia.

VAI successfully teamed with Solutionmart Inc and LG-EDS Systems Inc to win the competitive procurement for the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Ministry of Finance and Economy located in Seoul, Korea. This contract will provide the necessary infrastructure to support the use of VisuaLinks for money laundering and financial crimes investigations throughout Korea.

VAI is also working with a team from Kasetsart University to support the Anti Money Laundering Office (AMLO) based in Bangkok, Thailand. VisuaLinks is being deployed to analyze the contents of the financial transaction databases that are maintained by AMLO. VAI anticipates supporting these efforts over the next five years.

Through other ongoing efforts, VisuaLinks has also been licensed to HM Customs and Excise in Great Britain to help support advanced analytical functions in cooperation with several U.S. Government Agencies. VisuaLinks plays a critical role in the visualization and analyses of international datasets and other related materials.

This program, of course, will address both domestic and international efforts. We already have a great foundation in place from which to enable this program."
