STRIVA CORPORATION ACQUIRES EDP PRODUCT LINE FROM BMC

Striva Corporation and BMC Software Inc announced Striva's acquisition of the Enterprise Data Propagation (EDP) line of products from BMC Software.

With this acquisition, Striva becomes the only vendor capable of delivering a solution for the propagation of complex enterprise data between heterogeneous platforms and applications in real-time and in batch.

With this transaction, Striva has acquired BMC Software's complete line of EDP products. BMC Software EDP employees have transitioned to Striva and will continue to be located in Austin, Texas, which will now become the base for Striva's Development and Customer Support organization for the Americas.

The acquired EDP product suite provides customers with a high-performance enterprise change-data capture and real-time data propagation capabilities. This functionality complements Striva's award-winning DETAIL batch integration platform.

Additionally, Striva and BMC Software have established a strategic relationship in which both companies have agreed to engage in cooperative marketing and technology activities that will leverage the combined value of their solutions to their mutual customers. BMC Software also has become a minority shareholder in Striva.
