Stonebridge Recognized for Innovation in BI Solutions

Stonebridge Technologies, a provider of information technology and consulting services, has won an award for innovation in designing, developing and delivering business intelligence solutions.

Stonebridge was recognized at the first annual Cognos Partner Achievement Awards for demonstrating business value and return on investment during a consulting engagement for The Oklahoma Publishing Company (OPUBCO) in Oklahoma City. OPUBCO publishes "The Daily Oklahoman" newspaper, which is read by nearly a quarter of a million people each day.

Stonebridge helped OPUBCO implement a Web-enabled business intelligence solution that, among other key benefits, enabled it to become one of the first newspaper publishers in the country to expand its traditional advertising through database marketing.

With Stonebridge as the project's lead architect and integrator, OPUBCO implemented a Web-enabled reporting and analysis system supporting three key profit centers: circulation, print advertising and the new database marketing service. This powerful business intelligence solution, built using Cognos' PowerPlay application, provides OPUBCO business users in each area with rich, varied views of specialized data. The operation benefits are enhanced through a Cognos Upfront portal, which makes data available via OPUBCO's intranet.
