Buchanan & Edwards Names Robert Anderson to Management Team

Buchanan & Edwards Inc, the Virginia-based consulting firm specializing in strategic technology solutions for human resources management, announced the addition of Robert Anderson to its management team. Mr. Anderson has been named Director of Sales and Business Development and will lead new business initiatives in support of the firm's rapid growth and recent 8(a) certification.

Anderson brings more than 17 years of marketing and sales expertise in information technology and consulting to Buchanan & Edwards. Leveraging his outstanding track record of revenue generation and proven ability to launch new, innovative technology solutions, Anderson is charged with rolling out Buchanan & Edwards' data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to Federal and Fortune 1000 organizations as well as building strategic partner alliances. Initially Anderson will focus on growing business for Buchanan & Edwards' human resources information systems reporting solutions.

Anderson comes to Buchanan & Edwards from HandySoft, where he was vice president of marketing and sales for the company's suite of business process software offerings. Anderson also has served as regional vice president for Digital Archaeology, an ad-hoc Web analytics software company that simplifies the preparation of data for data mining and analysis. In addition to years of success at several software and Internet companies where he launched new products, developed and enhanced business strategy and increased revenues, Anderson's career began in the U.S. Army. There he served as a team leader in Psychological Operations, where he enhanced the use of database technology in measuring results for persuasive media campaigns.
