illumitek ANNOUNCES CUSTOMER ADVISORY BOARD

illumitek Inc, an award-winning provider of integrated visualization and analysis software technologies for data exploration and knowledge discovery, announces the formation of a Customer Advisory Board. Illumitek will provide members with access to company executives and a first look at upgrades and new product plans in exchange for their feedback about illumitek products and processes and their input into market conditions. Inaugural board members include Lee Rhodes, Hewlett Packard; Mike Page, Research International; Stephen Gardner, Viaken Systems; Dan Rope, illumitek; and Frank Oelschlager, illumitek. Three more board members will be appointed by September 2002.

"The Customer Advisory Board will give us direct feedback from our customers, providing us early market validation for our products and processes," said illumitek's Frank Oelschlager, vice president, technical operations. "In addition, customers will get to meet one another, providing an opportunity for cross pollination of ideas and best practices with our technology and other areas of interest."

"Each of the board members represents a different area of business, which will help feed our ideas about how best to use visualization technology."
