CRM/BI Expert Joins Peppers and Rogers Group

Gordon Murphy, formerly of NCR Teradata has joined Peppers and Rogers Group as a Director of Business Development.

He brings over eight years experience in the CRM/Business Intelligence software field to the strategy consulting firm, and a proven track record in the development of channel partner relationships. Working under managing partner, Trish Watson, Murphy is responsible for the development and execution of new business enterprise strategy consulting opportunities in the Eastern Region and will operate from the firm's Norwalk, CT headquarters.

Prior to his tenure at NCR, Murphy worked for two years at Prime Response in Cambridge, MA as Senior Account Executive in charge of Retail Sales for the Northeast US and Canada before transitioning to Director of Alliances. Murphy established a series of strategic partnerships in a push to gain momentum for Prime's March 2000 IPO, and helped architect Prime's first OEM agreement with MarketSwitch (Dulles, VA) and reseller agreement with MarketSoft (Lexington, MA).

Previously Murphy served for several years as a sales director at CASEwise Systems (Waltham, MA), a business process reengineering methodology application developer, where he helped provide change management and data warehouse design solutions for organizations such as DuPont, The International Monetary Fund, Hanes, and the Province of Nova Scotia.

Murphy started in business intelligence early in his career when he spent four years with Platinum Technology (Oak Brook, IL), a enterprise systems software developer, providing solutions for Executive Information Systems and query, reporting, and OLAP tools.

Murphy is a 1991 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he has done postgraduate work towards an M.A.T. degree.
