Former Microsoft/Go Ahead Execs Join Sightward's Management

Following its recent infusion of $5.8 million in funding, Sightward, a predictive analytics software and services provider, announced it strengthened its management team by appointing David Eckert as Chief Financial Officer and Dale Christensen as vice president of Business Development. In related news, Dennis P. Weston was elected to Chairman of the Board after serving as a member since April 2000.

Eckert joins Sightward as CFO with over twenty years experience in various executive level finance and operations positions. During his recent four-year tenure as CFO of GoAhead Software Eckert worked closely with the founder and CEO to raise $36.5 million in funding, and made significant contributions to the business plan that drove the Company's strategy as a network infrastructure software developer. Prior to GoAhead, Eckert lead the financial operations for several Northwest companies including online content provider, Starwave Corp, and desktop publishing developer, Aldus Corp. In his newly appointed role Eckert will oversee all aspects of Sightward's finances and collaborate with CEO, Kevin Klustner, on strategic planning.

Christensen brings a well-balanced portfolio of experience to his position as vice president of Business Development including five years at local start-up ventures and a ten-year career of strategic sales and business development achievements at Microsoft. As president of Zama Networks, Christensen refocused the product and marketing strategy that transitioned the Company into the leading developer of commercial Ipv6 solutions. Prior to Zama he held senior level business development and marketing positions at xSides, Attachmate, and Connext Corp. Christensen will now focus on expanding the presence of Sightward's predictive analytics solutions by building a nationwide network of OEM, System Integrator and Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners who specialize in related technologies, such as, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), data mining, and Business Intelligence.

"The addition of Dave and Dale gives us the expertise we need to capitalize on the market we helped create and to safeguard Sightward's position as a leader in predictive analytics," said Kevin Klustner, CEO of Sightward. "Dave's financial prowess and input will help guide our strategy, and Dale's proven experience delivering technology to markets in need will intensify our reach into the retail, financial services and telecommunications markets."

Dennis Weston, Senior Managing Director for Fluke Venture Partners, was recently elected to the position of Chairman. Denny, a veteran of the venture capital industry, has been managing the venture capital operations of Fluke Ventures for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experiences, especially in the areas of finance and fund-raising, operations management and retail merchandising.
