Teleran Announces Northrop Grumman GSA Contract

The Information Technology division of Northrop Grumman has entered into an agreement with Teleran to resell Teleran's iSight and iGuard query monitoring and management products.

This agreement confirms a growing recognition of the need to manage the efficiency and effectiveness of business intelligence (BI) assets in both the government and private sectors and strengthens Teleran's position as the leading supplier of BI resource management products. Government agencies are significantly expanding their use of BI, analytical and data warehouse applications.

iSight and iGuard enable federal and state agencies such as the US Army, the State of Florida and he State of Texas to open up access to their information while maintaining required access controls and reducing costs. iSight query monitoring audits information usage, ensuring that information security and privacy policies are being met. It also delivers metrics to better manage application performance and system efficiency. iGuard's real-time user management policies automatically protect databases from inappropriate and performance degrading queries.

In addition, iGuard sends real-time user messages that guide authorized users to efficiently interact with the information, reducing support and system resource costs while improving service to information users.
