VERITAS Software Rounds Out Mergers And Acquisitions Team

VERITAS Software Corporation announced the addition of Paul DiNardo to the management team as vice president of corporate development, responsible for mergers and acquisitions and venture investing activities. DiNardo, a 13-year veteran of Goldman Sachs & Co, is among several top executives that have recently joined the Company including Mark Bregman, executive vice president of product operations, and Jeremy Burton, chief marketing officer, from Oracle Corporation.

DiNardo comes to VERITAS Software from Goldman, Sachs & Co where he was a managing director in the High Technology Group and co-headed the global software banking practice, overseeing the execution of financing and M&A transactions. DiNardo previously worked for the Congressional Budget Office's Budget Analysis Division and holds a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Notre Dame, a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University and a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University.
