Features - Financial Plays Of The Week:KASTEN CHASE/BROCADE SUBMIT JOINT STORAGE SECURITY PAPERKasten Chase, a leading provider of high-assurance data security solutions, announced that they are working with Brocade, one of the world's leading providers of infrastructure for Storage Area Networks (SANs), presented their joint recommendations for management of security information in SAN fabrics, in a paper that was delivered to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) T-11 Committee's Security Working Group. This represents a collaborative effort to advance security solutions for networked storage environments. The Security Working Group is charged with defining new standards for information security within the storage industry. The paper was presented at the ANSI T-11 Committee meeting that took place in Seattle, WA from August 5 - 9, 2002. Both Kasten Chase and Brocade anticipate that the recommendations will further their common objective -- to make high-assurance data security integral to SANs.
