Forbes.Com CHOOSES Tek-Tools' STORAGE PROFILER

Tek-Tools Inc, a recognized innovator in enterprise storage resource management (SRM), today announced that Forbes.com, a leading Internet media company, has selected Tek-Tools' Storage Profiler for its storage management needs.

With Storage Profiler, Forbes.com has begun proactively managing their storage infrastructure from the solution's centralized, Web-based console.

Forbes.com, the Internet division of Forbes Inc, was founded in 1996 and publishes real-time, original reporting on business, technology, finance, investing and lifestyle. Forbes.com is initially using Storage Profiler to manage their Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment, specifically their Network Appliance filers. Storage Profiler's Network Appliance agent provides file analysis reports and alerts Forbes.com when volume usage and qtree usage exceeds user-defined thresholds. In addition to monitoring NAS, Forbes.com will use Storage Profiler to manage their migration to new technologies, such as a Storage Area Network (SAN).
