BakBone Software Announces Novell NetWare 6 Support

BakBone Software, a global provider of storage management software, has announced the availability of its NetVault NetWare Thin Client Application Plugin Module (APM) for NetWare 6.

This powerful module allows users to backup and restore installed file system and NDS data hosted on NetWare systems, combined with the ease of use of NetVault.

This version of the NetVault NetWare Thin Client also includes full support for Novell Storage Services (NSS). NSS improves a Novell administrator's ability to manage storage space more effectively and also provides improved backup performance due to the advanced streaming techniques incorporated into NSS version 6.

"NetWare 6 is the latest generation of Novell's NetWare flagship product. With this release, BakBone provides comprehensive Novell support to our customer base with the NetWare Thin Client APM, including support for NetWare 4.11 all the way through to this release of NetWare 6," said Kerri Taylor, NetVault APM Product Manager, BakBone Software.

The NetWare Thin Client APM works seamlessly with NetVault's modular design to deliver maximum performance and provide heterogeneous support for today's advanced storage networking technology.

Pricing & Availability

The NetWare Thin Client APM is available now. Pricing is $495 for Windows and Linux platforms, and $995 for UNIX.
