Voltaire To Partner With Hitachi On InfiniBand Development

Voltaire, a leader in intelligent InfiniBand connectivity, has announced that the company will co-operate with Hitachi Ltd, a leading global electronics company, on the development of advanced InfiniBand solutions for the data center marketplace. Together the two companies will define a set of solutions that will improve connectivity in the storage and server environment to help IT managers increase efficiency and cut costs in the data center. Recognizing Voltaire's leadership in the InfiniBand industry and the synergy effects with its solutions business, Hitachi is also making a strategic investment in Voltaire.

Under this co-operation, Voltaire will work with Hitachi towards new InfiniBand architecture-based solutions.
