NCS CHOOSES FALCONSTOR FOR ADVANCED NETWORK STORAGE

FalconStor Software Inc, a leading provider of network storage infrastructure software, has announced that National Computer Systems Pte Ltd, one of the largest IT service providers in Singapore, has selected FalconStor's IPStor to provide high data availability, quick disaster recovery, and highly efficient and reliable storage to its Data Center and outsourcing customers.

With nine locations serving six regional markets, NCS' 2,500 square meter Data Center is one of the largest mainframe sites in Singapore, with 440 MIPS of processing power, 2 Terabytes of on-line storage and 16.5 Terabytes of off-line storage. To gain an edge amongst the industry's fierce and growing competition, NCS recognized the need to optimize the management of its storage environment, both to increase its own business efficiency and to deliver superior services to its clients including consulting, applications maintenance services, managed hosting, business recovery, storage services, desktop management, call center and managed messaging services.
