VERITAS Software Sees Increased Momentum

VERITAS Software Corporation, a leading storage software provider, announced recently that it gained new customers and expanded its business with existing customers in the third quarter, particularly in the areas of support for AIX and Linux platforms. VERITAS experienced strong momentum in a variety of customer segments including, government, healthcare, financial services, transportation, manufacturing and retail. Industry leaders worldwide selected VERITAS Software in the third quarter over the competition in part because they recognize the need for truly heterogeneous, independent storage software solutions to manage their increasingly complex IT infrastructures.

In addition to FedEx, Carnival Cruise Lines, NCR Corporation and Kohler Company, VERITAS Software acquired new and additional third quarter business from a number of other customers, including City of San Antonio, Salesforce.com, Xspedius, AEGON, and Synopsis.
