Short Takes - People & Positions:Qualstar Appoints Frederic Boyer vice president/CFOQualstar Corporation, a recognized product reliability leader in the market for automated tape storage solutions, recently announced the appointment of Frederic Boyer to the position of vice president and Chief Financial Officer. Fred Boyer joins Qualstar with more than 20 years of experience in senior financial management positions with technology companies most recently as vice president, Finance and Administration, Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Accelerated Networks. Prior to that he held CFO positions, among other responsibilities, with Software Dynamics, ADC Enterprise Networking Group and Fibermux. Boyer enjoys a history of success in business development, strategic and operational planning and asset management. Mr. Lambertus has been appointed Director of OEM Sales for nStor's Western Region. He will be responsible for developing and executing the business to develop new OEM business partners for the company. Bruce has represented RAID controller and storage enclosure companies, and has developed OEM relationships through his past experiences at CMD, Chaparral, Eurologic, and most recently, IBM.
