ADVANTECH has released its latest NAS Appliance, the NAS-1100, a 1U storage device suitable for small to medium businesses.

Delivering performance usually only found in high-end products, the NAS-1100 is designed for easy integration and maintenance.

It features four ATA-100 IDE drives, storing up to 640GB. Users have the option of using Intel Pentium III CPU up to 1GHz, with the internal input/output bus capable of running at 64-bit/66MHz, compatible with high-end server products.

Able to seamlessly integrate a wide range of industry-standard software, the NAS-1100 offers a built-in dual 10/100 Fast Ethernet network connection, able to run efficiently at full speed, without any worries of bottlenecks, also offering fail-over and load balance features.

Preinstalled with hardened Linux OS requires no operating system licenses and is virtually maintenance-free after the initial installation and setup.

With functions such as RAID level 0, 1, 5, hot-spare, and auto-rebuild, the NAS 1100 ensures maximum data protection. Along with other security features such as user-level, share-level, local user, and more, the NAS-1100 keeps private information away from prying eyes while providing unlimited access to public information.
