CommVault 4.1 Solutions Certified For Windows 2000

CommVault Systems, a provider of unified enterprise data management solutions, has announced that CommVault software version 4.1 solutions are certified to manage data on the Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server and Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft's robust server operating systems. CommVault software version 4.1 met and exceeded Microsoft's highest testing standards and provides enterprise data and storage management for heterogeneous environments. Built, tested, tuned and certified on the Microsoft Windows platform, CommVault's software version 4.1 solutions provide comprehensive data backup and recovery, migration and availability that enable Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Advanced Server and Server customers to protect and manage critical data while maintaining stable business operations.

As part of the requirement for receiving Windows 2000 Datacenter, Advanced Server and Server certification, CommVault software demonstrated stress-tested stability after it was installed and run on a 32-processor system. To ensure a high level of service for customers, it was verified that CommVault Technical Support could provide around-the-clock support with the utmost quality and responsiveness. As part of the certification process, the CommVault software was installed and run on Microsoft Cluster Server and demonstrated that it could support failover to four cluster nodes. Microsoft's sole authorized test lab for the Certified for Windows program, VeriTest, conducted the testing.
