PeAk Introduces New 10PAK Autoloader Supporting SDLT 320

PeAk Storage Solutions, a leader in tape storage solutions, has announced the release of the 10PAK autoloader. The ten pack is a one drive by ten cartridge tape storage system which integrates the SDLT 320 tape drive from Quantum Corp.

The 10PAK autoloader is designed for customers requiring up to 3.2TB capacity and a transfer rate of up to 32MB/sec at a 2:1 compression ratio. Users now have the choice of a desktop or rackmount storage system that is user-friendly, easy to configure and cost effective. It offers features such as an integrated barcode scanner, and a single-cartridge import/export mailbox. The autoloader provides over a month of hands-off network backup, eliminating daily tape loading and increasing backup reliability.
