BENELOGIC BENEFITS FROM DELL EMC STORAGE

Benelogic LLC, a leading provider of software applications to help simplify employee benefits administration, has implemented a Dell EMC storage area network (SAN) to more efficiently host its application software products.

Benelogic, with more than 50 employees serving customers within all fifty United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, has nearly as many Dell servers as it has employees. Its data center includes a SAN built on a Dell EMC storage array, a Microsoft SQL cluster and Dell PowerEdge servers running Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server. The SAN provides Benelogic 3.1 terabytes of added storage capacity.

"The combination of our success with Dell servers and Dell's relationship with EMC gave us the confidence to consolidate onto Dell EMC storage," said S. Stuart Spector, Benelogic's chief operating officer. "We're using the SAN to host our application software products, so it's designed more for performance than capacity. The scalability and flexibility allows us to build out the SAN as our storage needs grow."

Benelogic has also deployed almost 100 Dell Latitude notebooks and OptiPlex desktop computers, and uses Premier Dell.com Pages to simplify its online ordering and track its Dell purchases.
