Piluso, CEO, announced the appointment of Earl R. Sullivan as president of Data Storage Corporation, a high-level industry-specific service bureau providing off-site data storage, back up, recovery and disaster prevention services. According to Mr. Piluso, "Earl Sullivan's proven leadership in business development, account management, and strategic product sales along with his expertise in building extraordinary customer satisfaction programs in technology-based businesses provides Data Storage Corporation with the strong leadership we need to meet our company's goals." In August, 2002, Data Storage Corporation launched Wall Street Data Vault, the company's first 'Boutique Data Service,' responding to the critical requirements of the financial industry for off-site data storage, file recovery and disaster prevention. Mr. Sullivan will lead Data Storage Corporation's effort to further expand Wall Street Data Vault and launch three new 'boutique' service areas: Law Data Vault, Insurance Data Vault, and M Data Vault -- specializing in the health care industry. When asked about his initial goals, Mr. Sullivan responded, "My first goal is to launch three new 'Boutique' environments for Data Storage Corporation and further establish our company as the choice 'data storage and recovery service bureau' for multiple industries. I'm pleased to have this opportunity." Data Storage Corporation's 'Boutique' Data Vaults allow users to schedule an automatic backup of data or to back up data on demand. The data is encrypted and compressed before being sent over a secure internet or dedicated connection. The service is excellent for firms that have centralized IT departments with remote locations, or executives that travel often and need assurance that their data is backed up and secure. With Data Storage Corporation's e-mail notification system, executives and IT managers are notified of the status of their backup. Most tape storage systems are not encrypted, therefore anyone with access to the tapes has access to the entire file system of the firm. The Data Vaults eliminate security issues via encryption and provides for off-site data storage for file restoration. About Earl R. SullivanEarl R.
