TACIT NETWORKS EXPANDS LINE WITH SYMMETRIC STORAGE CACHING

Tacit Networks Inc, an innovator in enterprise-class wide area network (WAN)-based storage consolidation solutions, has announced the availability of its Symmetric Storage Caching product.

In December 2002, Tacit Networks introduced Tacit Storage Caching, groundbreaking technology that uses Storage Caching/Internet Protocol (SC/IP(TM)) to deliver local area network (LAN)-speed access to data over wide area networks (WANs). Now the company is taking the concept a step further. The Tacit Symmetric Storage Cache provides enterprise-class storage caching capabilities for customers with multiple data centers, dramatically reducing collaboration costs, and boosting productivity of valuable knowledge workers.
