SNAP APPLIANCE IMPROVES SNAP SERVER 14000 NAS APPLIANCE

Snap Appliance Inc, a worldwide volume leader of network attached storage (NAS) products, has announced it is introducing a new model that increases the storage capacity of its enterprise-class Snap Server 14000 by 50%.

The new Snap Server 14000 model now provides 2.16 terabytes of raw capacity at a new, industry-leading price of only $20,995, giving Snap Appliance a high-availability enterprise offering for less than a penny per megabyte.

The Snap Server 14000 NAS appliance is easy to use, set up and administer. Configured in a 3U (5.25-inch) rack mount, it provides high data availability via RAID 5, hot-swappable disk drives, and a dual Gigabit Ethernet network interface with failover capability. Key features include cross-platform file sharing, seamless integration with popular management tools, extensive backup software support, hardware redundancy, and advanced capabilities such as data replication and aggregation.

In addition to the standard three-year Rapid Exchange warranty, Snap Appliance offers a comprehensive range of Snap Care on-site service and support packages for the Snap Server 14000. Snap Appliance's optional on-site service plans range from a five day, nine hour, next business day support plan up to the premium seven day, twenty four hour, four hour response.
