FalconStor AND GE ITS JOIN FORCES TO PROVIDE DATA CONTINUITY

FalconStor Software Inc, a leading developer of network storage infrastructure software, announced recently that it has joined forces with GE IT Solutions Inc (GE ITS), one of Canada's largest providers of information technology products and services, to deliver advanced network storage solution sets designed to provide Canadian enterprises with comprehensive data continuity services.

GE ITS will focus on offering fully integrated solutions addressing the needs of storage consolidation/provisioning, continuous online backup with rapid recovery, data migration and data replication. Named number two of "Canada's Top 100 Technology Solution Providers of 2002" by Channel Business, GE ITS has expertise in hardware procurement, network integration, planning and design, remote network enterprise management services, security, network computing, training and education, and life cycle solutions.

GE ITS has also built a large interoperability lab in Toronto, comprised of storage arrays and subsystems from enterprise storage vendors. This hands-on environment will allow prospective and current customers to test, configure, and assess a storage network infrastructure with FalconStor's IPStor as the integrated SAN/NAS solution along with complementary solutions from other enterprise players.
