INRANGE AND NISHAN SYSTEMS ANNOUNCE RESELLER AGREEMENT

The agreement gives IT users more options and enables customers to benefit from cost-effective, high performance IP storage networking solutions for remote mirroring, remote tape backup, and SAN extension.

Deployment of disaster recovery, remote data replication, and other high availability storage applications is a priority for customers who need to support 24X7 global data access. Leveraging existing IP network infrastructures for storage over distance offers reduced acquisition and support costs, and removes distance limitations between geographically dispersed sites. By combining INRANGE and Nishan technologies, customers can now extend their business-critical storage applications over virtually any distance while ensuring data integrity and availability.

Under the terms of the agreement, INRANGE will sell and support Nishan's IP storage switches, including the IPS 3000 Series and IPS 4000 Series, through its worldwide sales and service organizations. Nishan IP Storage switches ensure that customers have access to the greatest amount of bandwidth, at the highest speeds and the lowest latencies possible, for their storage traffic. Using a portion of their existing IP network bandwidth or separate IP networks for storage, customers can implement economical high-performance remote storage networks.

Nishan's IP storage switches complement INRANGE's remote data replication, business continuity, and professional services enabling customers to meet their strategic business objectives.
