nStor's 4520F Chosen By BiTMICRO For Lightning Fast SAN Aps

nStor Technologies Inc, an innovative developer of storage-network technologies and solutions, and BiTMICRO Networks Inc, a pioneer in intelligent flash disk and solid state disk (SSD) storage solutions, announce that BiTMICRO has selected nStor's 4520F Fibre Channel RAID System to be an integral part of the BiTMICRO SAN solution. The E-DiskSAN S2F-R, using BiTMICRO's lightning fast 2Gbit Fibre Channel flash solid state disk drives (E-Disk) provides instantaneous I/O throughput with complete active/active RAID protection.

The NexStor 4520F disk array system is based on nStor's new dual-active 2Gbit Fibre Channel RAID controller, known as the Wahoo. The 4520F supports four independent host connections, built-in volume sharing, 2GB of dynamically allocated cache, and unrestricted LUN expansion. StorView is nStor's Web-based storage management software that provides a highly intuitive visual user interface and remote network support capabilities.
