DISCOVERY COMMUNICATIONS DEPLOYS STORIGEN'S DSN

Storigen Systems, a provider of Distributed Storage Networks that eliminate geographic barriers to enterprise productivity and profitability, recently announced that Discovery Communications Inc has purchased Storigen's Distributed Storage Network. Discovery has deployed the solution to support several key projects, providing their offices around the world with real-time access to centrally stored digital media files.

Discovery, a leading global real-world media and entertainment company, sought a solution that would allow for the efficient distribution of streaming media and other files to more than twenty locations worldwide. Primarily, Discovery wanted to reduce the turnaround on collaborative efforts to improve productivity and interaction.
