SIRIUS JOINS IN IBM'S STORAGE VOLUME CONTROLLER LAUNCH

Sirius Computer Solutions, an IBM Premier Partner and nationwide provider of IBM storage products, is pleased to host the announcement of the IBM SAN Volume Controller, the first member of the IBM TotalStorage Virtualization Family of products. These products are designed to provide SAN wide control and management of storage resources.

According to Kent Winton, IBM Channel Development Executive, "IBM's Storage Volume Controller, one of a series of planned software solutions for SAN control and management, offers immediate benefits to existing SAN environments by creating enhanced storage capacity utilization and the availability of SAN functionality like Instant and Remote Copy. These functions are storage device and vendor supplier independent and offer significant economic payback."

Sirius Computer Solutions has for years invested in IBM storage product expertise and demonstration capabilities. With two IBM TotalStorage Solution Centers, one in Dallas, Texas, and the other in Beaverton, Ore., Sirius is poised to help IBM launch these products.
