APRICORN INTRODUCES EZ WRITER FOR PLAYING/BURNING DVDs & CDs

Apricorn, a leader in innovative easy-to-use portable data storage and transfer products, has released EZ Writer, an ultra portable optical drive weighing just 12 ounces and measuring a mere 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". EZ Writer is available in two versions, EZ Writer Combo and EZ Writer DVD, providing users with a sleek, portable solution for storing data, music, movies and MP3s in an all-inclusive package.

EZ Writer Combo allows users to burn and play CDs, backup important data files, store digital music and photos, and play DVDs. The drive supplies the functionality of a standard half-height drive in a slim-line enclosure.

EZ Writer DVD has the functionality of four drives, allowing users to play and burn both DVDs and CDs, as well as backup data files and store digital photos and music.

EZ Writer is hot swappable, allowing users to plug in and use instantly without restarting the Operating System. Because of its extreme portability, EZ Writer provides users with greater flexibility, including the ability to take information with them anytime, anywhere and to plug in to any computer whether at home or the office. Its ubiquitous design enables it to be easily shared between multiple notebooks and desktops.
