DOT HILL & UNIADEX SIGN SANnet II SUPPORT AGREEMENT

Dot Hill announced that its subsidiary in Japan has entered into an agreement with Uniadex to provide maintenance service for Dot Hill's SANnet II family of storage networking solutions. Uniadex will offer 24-hour, 365-day comprehensive support including installation, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management for SANnet II products for Dot Hill customers in Japan.

Uniadex has a field service force of 1200 trained technicians with more than half holding vendor certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional or Cisco Career Certification. In addition, Uniadex achieved ISO 9001 certification in 2000 for its over 200 facilities in Japan with the ability to deliver professional services around the clock. Based on this agreement with Dot Hill, Uniadex technicians have completed technical training on SANnet II systems.

The SANnet II family of storage systems provides industry-leading 99.9998+ percent uptime in a compact, rugged enclosure. SANnet II brings enterprise class features into the workgroup and virtually eliminates downtime with no single points of failure. The common modular architecture of the SANnet II product family provides seamless scalability for future growth.

All SANnet II products feature hot-swappable, field-replaceable components including drives, controllers, power supplies, fans and event monitoring units. This product line meets MIL-STD-810F standards for the U.S. Department of Defense and is certified to the telecommunications industry NEBS Level 3 standard.
