This intelligent and innovative storage subsystem allows businesses to expand their storage and achieve data rates up to 160 Megabytes/second at an affordable price. The TASKMASTER 4160 JBOD is an external data storage device, which meets the demands of large file systems produced by Archiving, Backup, Digital Video Recording (DVR), Digital Audio Recording (DAR), Media Streaming, and many others.

The TASKMASTER 4160 JBOD utilizes EIDE hard drives and an Ultra160 LVD SCSI 2-channel host interface to achieve better performance and cost effectiveness. 7 Terabytes of capacity can be reached when 7 TASKMASTER 4160 JBODs are daisy-chained together. Four removable front-accessible drive trays and an on-board Flash ROM make service and firmware updates easy.

The TASKMASTER 4160 JBOD comes in an industry standard 1U 19" rack mountable chassis and comes with a parts and labor warranty of one year. The warranty can be optionally extended to two or three years.
