D&H TO DISTRIBUTE DANTZ RETROSPECT PRODUCT LINE

Dantz Development Corp announced it has selected D&H Distributing, a leading national computer products distributor, to help fulfill rapidly increasing demand for Dantz Retrospect backup and restore software, widely used in small and midsize businesses.

The two companies complement each other with their mutual focus on the SMB market. D&H has a strong distribution presence in key vertical markets including consumer electronics, government and education, entertainment, and security. The Dantz Retrospect family of products provides the best-in-class data protection required by these vertical segments.

IDC predicts annual growth of 6.9% in backup and recovery as well as 12.9% annual growth in general business continuity purchasing, including software and hardware, by 2006.

• Retrospect Single Server -- Backs up a single server and unlimited networked desktops and notebooks at a suggested list price of $699.
• Retrospect Small Business Server -- Designed specifically for Microsoft's Small Business Server, which includes Exchange Server and SQL Server, at a suggested list price of $749.
• Retrospect Professional -- Backs up data on a single computer and two additional networked desktop and notebook computers in home and small offices, at a suggested list price of $129.

Retrospect 5.1 for Macintosh is available in three editions:

• Retrospect Server ­ Backs up a local Macintosh computer and 100 networked clients at a suggested list price of $799.
• Retrospect Workgroup ­ Backs up a local Macintosh computer and 20 networked desktop or notebook clients at a suggested list price of $499.
• Retrospect Desktop ­ Backs up one local Macintosh desktop or notebook computer and two networked desktops or notebook clients at a suggested list price of $129.
